I didn't know how Blaine was going to be with Kensley since he is such a Mamas boy but I have to say he has been AMAZING! He is such a big help during the day. He insist on getting everything I need for her and is constantly checking on her and talking baby talk to her. It is so cute!

Welcome Home Baby Girl
Well, it is Saturday and we just got home. It has been an exhausting week! Here are pictures of Kensley at 6 days old. My sister Jodi took these for me. I have some on my camera from the hospital but forgot my connector at my Moms house so will not be posting those until I get that back! It has been a very peaceful 1st day home. Rheagan is spending the night at her friends house and Blaine is just loving his new sister. He keeps telling me "Mom, if you need anything just let me know" He is very cute. No jealousy so far. He just wants to give her all of her dolls and stuffed animals when I change her diaper he holds them up for her and of course has to go and get the diaper and wipes for me. He is such a good boy!
Also before I forget...Thank You So Much to everybody who helped us out this week. I don't know what we would do without our friends and family. You guys are Awesome. We Love You.
Welcome Kensley Rhea
Oh How I have been waiting to blog this day! On Sunday, January 21st I got the BEST Birthday present anyone could ask for...Kensley entered the world at 10:08p.m. weighing in at 7lbs 9oz and was 19" long. I cant imagine how big she would have been if I would have carried her 3 more weeks to her due date! She swallowed some amniotic fluid on her way out so she had to stay in the nursery for a few days but we are home now and she is a perfect little angel! We are still not to sure who she looks like. She came out with a quite a bit of dark hair (Brian is asking me to explain that one! ha ha)
Here is how it happened. On Sunday Brian and I and the kids decided to go shopping and to lunch for my B-day. I felt great all day long and then on the way home at about 4:30p.m. I started having contractions. I didn't think to much of it until I started timing them and they were consistently 5 min apart for about 2 hours. Brian talked me into calling the Dr. I did and she sent me in to labor and delivery. I figured they would monitor me and send me home since my contractions were not getting any stronger. So we check in and they hook me up to the monitors..They are still coming but I was still dilated to between 1 & 2 and 75% effaced so the nurse went in and called my Dr. When she got back to my room at about 8:45 she said okay well the Dr. said we will be delivering her at 9:30. I said "ummm, in the morning?" she said "No, like in 45 min" I was so panicked! I could not believe this was happening! Brian walked outside to make the phone calls and was so shocked he could not remember how to work his phone! So needless to say 9:30 rolled around and they wheeled be back to the O.R. and out came baby at 10:08p.m. Brian got to watch them pull her out and he got to cut the cord so that was exciting for him. Everything else went as planned. The Dr's were laughing at me saying I have to spend every one of my Birthdays from here on out at Chuckie Cheese! Thats okay, I would gladly give up every Birthday for the gift I received on this one!

Happy Birthday Michael!
I can not believe Michael is 1 years old today! He is such a cutie pie with quite the sense of humor! He was so cute at his party. He got tons of great gifts and was in a great mood for the whole party! As you can see he really enjoyed his cake! What a great picture with the proud Mommy and Daddy! Alright Jodi and Daniel, Time to start working on #2!!!!

Nursery
I finally took some pictures of the babys nursery. It is still work in progress but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! I just love the how her name turned out on the wall. Not a very good picture but Im sure you can get an idea of what it looks like! Not loving the way I have the furniture in the pictures. I have moved it around since I took these pictures earlier tonight, just havent found the right spot for everything yet! I need to get Grandma Nut out here!!!! All I am waiting on now is a new dresser so I can get all of her new clothes put away. I have them all washed and folded and it is driving me nuts not to be able to put them away somewhere! Hopefully this weekend!
37 Weeks
I had my 37 week Dr. Appt today. I am 75% effaced and dilated to a little over 1cm! Yippee, things are progressing! I dont know why that excites me being I am scheduled to have her on the 26th anyway! I guess it is just reassuring knowing she is getting ready too! I dont want to have her to early and end up with complications! She will be born at 38 weeks which is when Blaine was born via C-section with no complications so we should be good to go! Only 8 more days until we get to meet our Kensley Rhea!
Baby Shower
Jodi, Lena and My Mom threw me a baby shower on Saturday. Thank You , Thank You, Thank You!!!!! Everything was awsome. We had a great time. I got soooo many wonderful gifts. We kept it short and sweet. It was great to get to visit with everybody. I never knew how many cute girl clothes were out there! I think Kensley could change 3 times a day for the next year and still not wear all of her new clothes! Im bummed I didnt get more pictures of the decorations but here is one of the diaper cake my Mom made! It turned out sooooo cute! I was so sad to take it apart but ended up with so many diapers and other goodies out of it!

Our little Student of the Month
Congratulations Rheagan for being Student of the Month!!! Yeah....she must take after her Mom! ha ha
As you can see she was Student of the Month for the Month of November but they didnt hand out the awards until December and with X-mas and everything else going on I am just getting around to posting it now!
Good Job Rheagan! Dad and I are so proud of you....keep up the good work! We Love You!
My New Countdown
So I added my countdown ticker to the side bar of my blog...Can you believe it...2 weeks from Friday until we get to meet the new baby! I cant wait! I had to mess with the countdown ticker a little bit so it would display how many days left correctly but it says I am further along than I really am it thinks I am delivering at 40 weeks instead of 38. I will be 36 weeks on Friday. So confusing! =)

A Day out with Dad...
Brian and his friends are all going riding today and taking the kids along.Rheagan has been really looking forward to this! These pictures are from 6 this morning when they were getting ready to head out of town. Of course I had to walk them out to get pictures so I could blog them! (Oh Man, I feel my self turning into my sister!)Anyhow, they were going riding over 4 peaks and then stopping at a restaurant in Punkin Center and having lunch! Have Fun Guys! Im Jealous!

Working on Kensleys Room
Since my time has been cut short and the next few weeks are booked up with Baby Showers and 1st Birthdays My wonderful Mother and Sister decided to come over today to help me (not that I was much help) get the babys room a little closer to complete. As you can see in the pictures we had a few little helpers too! I will post pictures of the room when I get it finished! Thanks Guys for making the trek all the way out here to help me today!!!

Jodi got her new camera for Christmas so she came over today with My Mom to help finish the nursery and take some belly pictures. They turned out so cute! She is so talented! I think she needs to go into business! Thanks Jodi!
I love the ones with Rheagan and I. I wish we could have gotten some with Blaine but he is still a little under the weather and was taking a nap.
